This year, we’re honored to welcome five new members to the Pisgah Health Foundation Board of Directors. Strong communities don’t happen by accident— they’re shaped by people who care deeply about place, who listen well, and who are willing to steward resources with intention. Our 2026 board class strengthens that work as we continue investing in health, resilience, and opportunity across Transylvania, Haywood, and Madison counties.

Kane Farmer offers expertise in financial literacy and banking, grounded in a deep belief in stewardship and community sustainability. His long-view perspective strengthens our commitment to responsible grantmaking and lasting impact.

Tyree Griffin brings extensive experience in community-based programming, public engagement, and multi-site leadership. His focus on equity, cultural connection, and generational well-being aligns closely with our work to ensure everyone belongs in the future we’re building.

Jonathan LaRocca adds a strong financial and investment lens to our board, helping ensure that our resources are managed responsibly and aligned with meaningful community benefit.

Dean Lytle brings strategic leadership experience across media, technology, and healthcare. His background in planning and operations, paired with a systems-level view of community decision-making, will support our long-term sustainability and thoughtful growth.

Heather McNeely brings decades of experience working with youth and families in rural communities. Her knowledge of agriculture, land stewardship, and relationship-based trust-building reflects the heart of how change happens here: through connection.

Together, this group brings wide-ranging experience in public service, finance, youth and family systems, agriculture, community engagement, and strategic leadership. All five were raised in Transylvania County and carry deep roots across Brevard, Rosman, Lake Toxaway, and surrounding communities—grounding their leadership in lived experience, long-standing relationships, and a shared commitment to this place.

We’re grateful for the wisdom, lived experience, and steady leadership they bring to the table.

With Gratitude:

We also extend our sincere thanks to Ora Wells (Vice President), Kathe Harris (Secretary), and Rob Field for their dedicated service to Pisgah Health Foundation. Their leadership and care have helped shape who we are today.
