Partnership Is How Change Happens
As Pisgah Health Foundation opens its 2026 Community Health Grant Cycle, we're reflecting on what we've learned from our partners over the first half of the year.
At our recent Mid-Year Partner Convening, nonprofit leaders came together to share ideas, strengthen relationships, and explore opportunities to work together. The conversation reinforced something we see every day: lasting community impact doesn't happen in isolation—it happens through partnership.
Across Western North Carolina, organizations are tackling complex challenges with creativity, resilience, and a deep commitment to their communities. By investing not only in programs, but also in leadership, collaboration, and organizational capacity, we can build healthier communities together.
As we launch this year's grant cycle, we're excited to support the people and organizations turning bold ideas into lasting impact.
In June, we hosted a Mid-Year Partner Convening, bringing together 2025 grant recipients and organizations that received Dogwood SNAP emergency funding support in Transylvania, Haywood, and Madison counties. The gathering was designed as a shared learning and storytelling space rather than a traditional report.
