Building Partnerships That Last
People, Structure & Shared Strategy
Friday, October 23 | 9 a.m.–12 p.m.
Mary C. Jenkins Community & Cultural Center, Brevard
Collaboration is increasingly essential to how we address community needs, strengthen services, and make the most of limited resources. But meaningful collaboration takes more than goodwill and getting the right people around the same table.
Pisgah Health Foundation, in partnership with Dogwood Health Trust, invites nonprofit, civic, and community leaders to an interactive morning exploring what makes partnerships actually work—from the people side of trust, relationships, and communication to the systems side of shared goals, clear roles, resources, and accountability.
Participants will hear from Jerry Kenney of Dogwood Health Trust, learn from local collaborative efforts including SparkPoint and FWRD Transylvania, and then put those lessons to work using a practical Collaboration Canvas built around:
Purpose → People → Structure → Resources → Action
