PowHer Paddle Supports Women's Giving Initiative
On Saturday, August 22, women from across Transylvania County are invited to come together for an afternoon of connection, recreation, and community impact through PowHer Paddle, hosted by Headwaters Outfitters in partnership with the PowHer Women’s Networking Collaborative.
PowHer is a community partnership led by Pisgah Health Foundation, the Brevard/Transylvania Chamber of Commerce, SparkPoint, and Kayla Leed Creative. Together, the partners are creating opportunities for women to connect, grow as leaders, and strengthen our community.

Paddle for a Purpose
Open to participants of all experience levels, the PowHer Paddle is a fun and welcoming way to connect with other women while enjoying the beauty of the French Broad River.
Registration includes the guided paddle experience through Headwaters Outfitters, with 50% of proceeds benefiting PowHer Give.
PowHer Give is a women's giving circle that brings members together to learn about community needs, pool charitable resources, and collectively invest in local nonprofits and initiatives that improve health and well-being.
Members participate not only through giving, but also through learning, relationship-building, and shared grantmaking decisions—making philanthropy more accessible, collaborative, and community-driven.
