Manna Food Bank of Asheville
MANNA’s mission is to involve, educate and unite people in the work of ending hunger in Western North Carolina. Since our first distribution in 1983, we remain committed to providing food with hope and dignity to the most vulnerable residents including seniors, children, working-poor families, disabled individuals and veterans. In 2019 we distributed more than 21 million pounds of food to people in need in 16 counties. We have a long-standing history of trust and collaboration throughout our network with more than 200 partner agencies, including many faith-based organizations, soup kitchens and shelters. Additionally, we work with 160 schools, health clinics and numerous other community organizations.
