Irene Wortham Center, Inc.

Irene Wortham Center (IWC) offers three on-campus programs including an Early Learning Center for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, an Adult Day Activity Center for adults with developmental disabilities and three residential homes for children and adults with developmental disabilities. For 59 years and counting, the IWC has been helping children and adults with developmental, as well as socio-economic challenges live happier, healthier and fuller lives. There are also community-based programs including Supported Employment, Community Networking and Assisted Family Living, which focus on fostering independence and developing relationships in the community. Across all the programs, the center serves a total of about 400 individuals. The programs emphasize independence with the goal of helping every individual reach their fullest potential.
