Blue Ridge Health

Blue Ridge Health (BRH) integrates primary medical care, pediatrics, pharmacy, dental, nutrition, behavioral health, pharmacy and outreach services in a patient-centered medical home. All BRH programs and services are targeted to high-need populations, including those with low incomes, the uninsured, Medicaid and Medicare enrollees, Health Choice (CHIP) enrollees, migrant and seasonal agricultural workers, the elderly and children. BRH accepts patients without insurance on a sliding fee scale that is based on family size and household income. BRH currently operates 28 sites in Henderson, Transylvania, Rutherford, Jackson, Polk, Haywood, Swain and Buncombe counties and provided comprehensive primary health care for 40,532 patients in 2019.
