COVID-19 Response and Resources

Pisgah Health Foundation Administrative Staff will be working remotely from home. Our office at 153 W Jordan St, Brevard, NC 28712 will be temporarily closed as we continue to closely monitor public health guidance on the spread of COVID -19.

The Pisgah Health Foundation has established a rapid response COVID-19 fund to come to the immediate aid of social service agencies facing dire situations relating to the coronavirus pandemic.

Consideration will be given to city or county-wide broad-based collaborations. Application for funds is no guarantee of approval. To apply, please fill out this FORM and return to Cathy Wood, Grant Coordinator, Pisgah Health Foundation:, 828-435-3775.


The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina has opened the Emergency and Disaster Response Fund to offer support to nonprofit organizations in the 18 western counties affected by the impact of COVID-19 in our communities.

The intent of this fund is to respond to immediate/urgent needs not covered by other sources. Human service organizations needing support are invited to submit an application via the link below.

Pisgah Health Foundation, along with area donors and Dogwood Health Trust, has provided financial support so that organizations will have what may be necessary to remain available to those in need.
