Pisgah Health Foundation Announces Awards in Second Cycle

In the second grant cycle, with special consideration given to Buncombe, Haywood, and Madison counties, the Foundation approved 34 programs awarding over 2 million dollars. Grants announced were awarded in the following areas:

  • Childhood Education:  $233,387
  • Food and Food Insecurity:  $704,744
  • Health Determinants:  $458,095
  • Housing Quality and Homelessness:  $567,298
  • Social Cohesion:  $110,470

Given our strategic funding areas, organizations with programs that demonstrated the greatest need and promised the greatest impact in specific areas received grant awards. The list of recipients:
