Pisgah Health Foundation has approved a $5,000 COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund request to The Medical Loan Closet of Henderson County. This nonprofit organization provides low-cost loans of durable medical equipment to residents of Henderson and surrounding counties. Local medical, rehabilitation, and therapy facilities regularly refer patients, many in an urgent and emergency situation.
Executive Director Maureen Graham stated “The majority of our clients are elderly, on a limited income, or have an urgent need of equipment during illness or recovery from surgery. Thank you PHF for your generous assistance!”
