Pisgah Health Foundation has approved Madison County Education Foundation to support food resources to students of Madison County Schools. The grant requested was for 60,000 pounds of food to feed their local community.
Madison County Schools will use this money for supplemental food for the local students and their families. Because of this funding, Madison County Schools together with Manna Food Bank, and Mars Hill First Baptist Church, will be able to deliver 1,300 meals to children in the county between the ages of 0-18.
